In The Beginning
The origin of the band SERDCE began in 1997 in Gomel (Belarus), that days the band was named COR and the members of the composition were: Slava X (drums), Kul'ba Igor (bass-guitar), Nik (guitar and vocal), Pavlov Yura (guitar). The music of the formation had a character of some kind of Hard and Heavy - trash, or something like this and it was the beginning of the times counting of the musicians becoming. Slava X working at the House of Pioneers Studio at the same time tried to help to other local bands. Kulba Igor, Pavlov Yura and Nik were within the framework of the COR only. Then, however, the staff was under the modification. In winter of 1997 Yura finally left the city for his native Mogilev. For not wasting the time, the gays set into the studio in the form of trio, had recording the first demo in their life, named My eyes. After that the material had been playing at several live-performances of the band, including: Spidoboika in 1997, Heavy Music Party in 1997. Then the interests of the musicians became absolutely wrong, that led to the completely disorder of the band but it opened the new way, the way to the newest history of SERDCE. |

In Minsk
In 1999 an unpleasant situation in the family made Nik to remove into the capital, that, for one hand, opened the horizons of the music even more, but on the other hand it wasn’t rather easily to gather the staff and begin to work f full value. The search hadn’t given anything useful, and it was naturally that the experience of the n-line rehearsals and concerts didn’t even grow but it firmly began gravitating towards the bottom. The number of meetings, acquaintance and joint jams didn’t give the positive results. Nevertheless the last months of summer of 1999 evened the situation and it led Nik to the acquaintance with Valerii Nesmelov (ex guitar player of VIOLENCE then the guitar player of and singer of ESCAPISM). At his place the talk about joint creation took place. After a week’s pause the gays have already met at the rehearsal base for the further discussing of some music ideas. Dybal Andrey (the music basis of the project named CEREMONY and at the same time he was the drummer of the VIOLENCE), Kuvshinov Pavel (ex bass guitar of VIOLENCE), Gres (ex vocal of VIOLENCE), Gulinsky Vladimir who hadn’t marked anywhere yet presented at the rehearsal in addition to the abovementioned. It’s to notice, but the fruitfulness of the meeting began to work from the very second rehearsal. Everything went as a matter of cause. V. Gulinsky and V. Nesmelov took interest in the material which Nik had offered them. A. Dybal had given his agreement on the help with the rhythm- section. In this staff several things had been played. But the experimentalism of the time’s staff was proved by of Nesmelov’s leaving in few months which was connected mainly with the discord among the musicians concerning the process of working over the material than by means of incompatibility of the music modes of thinking. The staff had the form of trio again. In such a way without the official status and nameless the different music characters should get used to each other in the way outside in half a year, but at the same time trying to organize Demo of 2001, which the gays had recorded on inhuman or even superhuman conditions at the popular at that times metal- studio Out of Records, not thinking for a long time they had given it the name СЕРДЦЕ. This creation however had very useful effect and today it’s some kind of rarity. Being short of time in the CEREMONY, rehearsals almost every day - all this made Andrey be out of the creative balance, that of cause fluently moved him to the big question of further participation in the trio. And after the invitation to the staff of DALAKON from the old friends in case of changing the leaving guitar player, SERDCE had to stop their joint work. V. Gulinsky had overestimate his music passions, gave up the experiments in the kinds of ULIS and other alternative groups. During a year the situation was still in the air and hadn’t changed radically at all. The only binding link of the three persons surprisingly had became V. Nesmelov, who had going away recently. At the moment he had matured to his project named ESCAPISM. The coincidence of circumstance in the number of which are the freezing of DALAKON, the Nik’s spare time it all led the musicians, playing together not long ago, to the participation in ESCAPISM. At the same time Nik and Andrey began to discus the new ideas that had accumulated in the period of stagnation that, as should be wait, led to the renewing of rehearsals. Within the limits of the music effects and lyrics to it, they had decided to leave the previous signboard, only had interpreted it into Russian СЕРДЦЕ. The material had the goods appearance and was ready to be worked over at the studio. The only problem was the bass-guitar section, as there was nobody to prepare it.
Reincarnation
They say that everything returns to its beginnings and the same way V. Gulinsky had returned to the group, after his long experiments. Further, it will do the trick. In 2002 the band rented the capital’s X- NOISE Factory Studio where all of the record sessions of the first full- size album Aritmia took place, that had been published by the small Minsk label Art Classic Company. It goes without saying that the band was in need of the live-performances, the first of which had taken place at Soligorsk club Fest at the concert organized by the gays from VESTIBULUM. The others were at No Presents for Christmas - 4 in 2003 , Shock therapy Fest -2 in 2003 and Dead Path in 2003. Nevertheless, the new year brought the new troubles, or to be more concrete, it made the old ones sharper that time V. Gulinsky finally left SERDCE. The problem of the staff-bass guitar player was under consideration again. And by a happy chance the gays again met their old friend Kuvshinov Pavel (ex bass of VIOLENCE), who had returned from England recently. Pavel began to raise the just ready material, and only the problems in the family made him gave it up for good.
The Newest
Being sick and tired of the permanent problems of the search of musicians, the gays got down to the second album, named CYBERLY together. A bit later, Zak who has invited Nik to work over some rehearsal and a live-performance together earlier, has done a favor and agreed to include into the work of the session bass player. The changes came again: the band has become the English speaking one, and the name is given as the Latin acronym SERDCE. The sound and the material has become more difficult in its structure and it made the process of working in studio long. At the end of recording of the material there where long time and agonizing negotiations and it hasn’t brought anything useful, only several suggestions and no specific actions at all. But the faith and support of the close people and also the fanatic faithfulness of the gays to the music has broken almost all the negative arising on the creature way. The staff became stronger than ever with the coming of such talented musicians in summer of 2004 as: Ax Klesch (guitar player of SUFFERER) came to the band, in winter of 2004 after several joint jams, Alex (bass - guitar of SUFFERER) joined the band. Nevertheless at that time a promo packet has shot, anyhow, everybody thought it had been. It was the suggestion of Metal Agen Soyuz Rec. which had made the gays signed to the fresh - recording CYBERLY, after that was the journey for the concert to Moscow to Musicness Party 5, where SERDCE presented its new material marvelously, playing at the stage together with: NEGLECTED FIELD, HIERONIMUS BOSCH, EVERLOST.In September of 2005 Ax left for England in case of his family problems, at the same time hi temporary left the group. The gays choosing the rigid graph of the rehearsals, working over the partly ready material for the new record, the working name of it is The Alchemy of Harmony. According to the recording of the things became clear that the group is in need of the deeper sound and in March of 2006 Oleg came to the band at the role of permanent keyboard player. In the 28th of May 2006 the band got down to the recording, having rented the X- NOISE Factory studio, which has become a traditional one for them. |
